Hairspray is just one of those movies you need to see once. Even if you don’t like Musicals, I feel you will like this movie. There are so many big names in this movie, but the funniest character is John Travolta being dressed up as a woman. I just can’t stop thinking about how funny he is and how he keeps a straight face the entire time in the movie. He is a crackup.
There was a lot of music in this movie, and a lot of dancing. Good real-world messages about how the 60s were in blacks and whites and the segregations that apparently were around ( I was not living at this point in time, so I don’t have any real-world experiences with this ).
At the end of the movie, I felt like we got our monies worth. We would give this movie a good A- because of the excitement and humor was so much fun. I most likely won’t re-rent this but it’s worth going to see at least one.

I have never been a huge Simpsons fan, but would flip to it when there was nothing else to watch on TV. The movie is much better then TV however. I love the adult related content and the good connection that Bart and Homer have with each other.
The best part about the movie is the under laying messages that the Simpson has. Funny things like when Homer goes to alask, a security guard hand him $1,000 and says “We thank our residents for allowing oil companies to destroy our natural landscape” or something like that, or quotes like “I am not here to read, I am here to lead” with Arnold Schwarzenegger voice.
Anyhow, the movie was well worth watching. We will rent it when it comes out again. Very Funny.
We give the Simpsons a B.

SNAP! I am going to be a father! April and I just found out that we are pregnete (well, she is, but I fall in there too).
We dont know if its a Girl or Boy yet because we just found out a couple days ago. This is huge news as it is our first baby.
It is amazing how things work out. I sold my car just a few weeks ago, and I find she has been prego that entire time. What perfect timing!
My mom, dad, and brothers know, but we want to suprise Aprils parents, so we are waiting till we seek them in person.
I AM SO FREAKIN EXCITED!

Adam Sandler is great, but this movie may not be the best he has ever done. There were lots of funny parts, but the problem was they tried too hard to make Adam look like a Pimp and Male whore. It was funny none the less, but a little over done.
The story is about a guy who waited to log to get his pension benefits moved over to his children because he was too busy mourning the death of his wife. Adam is his best friend, and he saves Adams life, so Adam owes him one.
There were some parts that were really good, but walking out of it, we were not very satisfied. We gave this movie a C+ just because of Adam Sandler and Kevin James being some funny ass actors.
Better luck next time Adam. I think you could have done better with this one.

We went and saw Harry Potter, Order of the Phoenix on Friday. We went into this movie thinking it was going to be the best one yet, because we had heard that it was. Maybe we set our expections to high.
The movie was fun and exciting. The magic was very dark, and scary. But overall, the movie really wasnt that good. I dont know why people think it was better. There was less action, less drama, less excitement then even the previous one.
I love Harry Potter films, but this one is at the bottom of the list for us. Both April and I walked out feeling like we were unsatified and wanted more. More dragon fighting, or more funny things happening. The story was not really about the hate relationship between Harry and his enemy. This time, it was about the school itself.
I will give this movie a C just becuase I love the Harry Potter stories, but this is the best I can do for it. Next time, we need more action/adventure.

I have always been a fan of Michael Moores movies. This movie was yet another success. To be honest, I am very unpleased with the USA and its health care. We don’t take care of our people. Its sad to see other counties, especially countries that are very poor like Cuba, get free health care for their people. Canada was a great example of how we should do things.
The argument of "why should I pay to help others" is one that I always thought about, but it makes perfect sense. You never know what is going to happen, and when something does, you wont have to change your life to pay for your medical bills.
I would, without any doubt, give this movie an A. You might be thinking, man, this guy always gives movies As, but really, we see only movies that look good, and only every now and then get a bad one.
I don’t know what we will do to fix our health care system in the U.S.A., but we need to find a solution, and fast. We are going to be in a lot of trouble. Canada really knows how to take care of their people and we have more money then they do. Stop taking care of everyone else, and lets take care of ourselves first.

We just got back from seeing Transformers. I am just so excited that so many good movies have came out this summer. Oceans 13, Die Hard, and now this. I most definataly would give this movie an A.
Growing up, I used to watch and play with Transformers. This really did bring back the excitement. I honestly could not remember what the story was about, but you dont need to in this.
There were so many good actors in this movie. Shia LaBeouf did an excellent job playing is part. He has really moved up in his movies and I am sure I will be following his performance where ever I go.
The movie is about machines that end up on planet earth and humans just happen to get in the middle of things (like normal). The Autobots are there to protect Shia LaBeoulf against the bad robots (not sure what they are called) whos leader is Megatron (that rings a bell from the old days)
I got a few files around the web that fits this blog post:

Oh, and she is HOOTTT in this movie too. (sorry April... but she is)

The graphics were stunning! They looked so real.

Another cool shot

Anyhow, the movie was great. It had humor all the way through, and if you enjoyed Transformers when you were younger, then you are not only about my age, but you will really enjoy this movie.
Grade: A
Great Job Michael Bay!

I am sure the Dept of Homeland security would have a fit if they saw this. That looks like Europe to me, but I cant tell. Very stupid, but very cool at the same time. What do you think?

As some of you may know, I recently released a module for DNN that you can use to help redirect your clients to the correct url. This is very handy if you are moving a website to DNN, and dont want to loose your search engine postion links.
I recently updated my code to support tracking hits to yoru pages that result in 404, file not found codes. It increments each time they are entered.
Here is an example of one of my websites I run that used to be written all in asp. (click ot enlarge)

As you can see, this is very good information to have so you dont loose valuable clients coming to your website.
This product can be purchased on SnowCovered for $10 bucks as of today:
