Some early tricks I have learned

I found that its easier to advance by buying cars on the Xbox Live auction house that will put you ahead of everyone else. This weekend, I got to a point where I can hardly drive the cars.

I won the 2002 Lingenfelter Z06 700+ hp Corvette. I modded the crap out of it, and lightened it, and I can’t control it. It seriously is the most squirmy car I have ever driven in this game. It actually is almost annoying. I will be in 3rd gear, and give it half throttle, and the backend will just kick out from behind, even on race slicks.

I ran it into the wall several times.

First day - WOW!

I have had my copy of Forza Motorsports 2 on order since December 26th, 2006. It was orginally going to be released Feb 15th, but had some delays. I bought it on bestbuy.com for $44 dollars (I found a way to discount the game).

It was released on 5/30, but best buy told me it was going to be delayed a few weeks. I was pissed. I have been waiting 6 months for this game and already paid for it. I went to best buy to complain, but I found that they did not have any copies or any other store. I guess Microsoft didnt ship them or something. Even Circuit City was out of them.

Anyhow, the game go here yesterday (6/5/07) and I decided I would play it for a couple hours. It is just amazing how great the graphics look. Everything is just so tight and reflective. This is a major improvement over Forza 1.

My first car was a VW Golf. Yea.. I know.. who the heck wants that? Well, it was the fastest car I could get at the start. by the end of two hours, I had upgraded it to over 400 horse power. The thing was NASTY!

The integration with XBox Live was just great. I could upload photos right to my profile (which is connected to my MS Live profile) on Forzamotorsports.net I took a picture of this VW Golf... just to see what it looks like. My TV is a 42" LCD 1080p. The picture looks just as good as it does on my screen.
